Seaside apartment in a top location
At Whaaw, we offer family-friendly holiday rentals in unique locations. Our apartments in Westende, Helmgrass, Grain of Sand and Tide and Ebb, are situated in a quiet spot in the dunes. Our apartments in Ostend, Catamaran and Sailing boat, are located near the harbour, the train station and the city centre. Both are also within walking distance of the beach.

Stylish seaside apartment with all-in service
At Whaaw we love surprising our guests with luxury seaside accommodation. We have furnished each of our apartments with high-quality, modern materials. This gives them a stylish, contemporary look.
The kitchen is fully equipped and the bathrooms have enough toiletries and toilet paper for your first few days. You’ll also find some tea towels and dishwasher tablets to get you started. Additional bath towels and sheets are available too. We’ve thought of everything so that you don’t need to bring anything from home. Enjoy a carefree getaway by the sea.

At Whaaw we believe it’s the little details that make the difference. If you book during the Christmas holidays, there’ll be a Christmas tree waiting for you. Celebrating New Year with us? Toast the new year with a nice glass of champagne. It’s on us!
Parking in Ostend and Westende
Sit back and explore the Belgian coast. You’ll find public transport, including the train, bus and coastal tram, all within easy reach of your apartment. There’s also plenty of parking if you’re coming to the coast by car. In Ostend you can easily park in the large train station car park across the street from your apartment. In Westende there is a securely fenced car park with eight parking spaces (at least two spaces per apartment) next to the building.
Unwind in Westende
Relax in the dunes of Westende-Bad. A modern apartment in a unique location, within walking distance of the beach. In Westende there are fewer tourists which means you can enjoy this pleasant town at your own pace. Fancy going surfing or playing tennis in the centre? There are plenty of ways to combine relaxation with sports and fun in Westende.
Village feel within easy reach of tourist hotspots
In Westende you’ll feel like you’re on holiday in a friendly village. No apartment blocks casting a shadow over Westende, but instead smaller houses, cosy restaurants and outdoor cafes.
If you prefer to soak up some culture and fancy a fun day trip, you’ll find Nieuwpoort and Ostend close by. Hop on the coastal tram, that stops right at the door, or into your own car parked at the apartment and explore the Belgian coast’s many tourist hotspots in no time.

Opposite Ostend train station you’ll find our two stylish apartments for 4 people with views over the beautiful harbour. With the city centre and the beach within walking distance, your apartment is the perfect base for exploring Ostend, a vibrant city full of culture and fun activities. Perfect for a weekend of shopping and outdoor cafes.
